  Rates   

Gil offers some of the most competitive rates anywhere. 

His rate is simple: $30 per hour for up to three people.  This rate includes Gas, Bait, Tackle, and Fishing Rods (if needed).  Daily fish-fries are an additional $25.  Pricing is subject to change at anytime, but are guaranteed when reservations are made ahead of time. So book early, Gil's calendar fills up very quickly.

  Fishing Season   

Gil's guiding season typically begins in Mid-May and ends in September. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.

  Fishing   

During your fishing trip, you can expect to catch the following type of fish

    • Walleye (Pickeral)
    • Muskey

Gil typically back trolls during his fishing trips but performs many other fishing techniques when appropriate.

  Fishing Party Sizes   

Gil can accomodate up to 3 people in total.  This number includes children and / or anyone that is not fishing.

  Fishing Hours   

Gil is available for Guiding at anytime and will accomodate your schedule. These details can be made at the time of the reservation but can also be changed anytime by simply contacting Gil. Since his schedule fills up quite quickly, he recommends making reservations at least 1-2 weeks ahead of time, and sometime further ahead of time during holiday weekends or peak times during the season. 

  License and Regulations   

Anyone going fishing with Gil must have a valid fishing license, so please make sure your license is valid and has not expired.

  Travel Tips   

Make sure you dress according to the weather. Temperatures in Northern Ontario can fluctuate significantly during the summer seasons, so make sure you dress appropriately to ensure your trip is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.

  Other Services and Facilities   

If anyone requires additional equipment such as a fishing rod or life jacket, please contact Gil ahead of the trip to ensure that the appropriate equipment is available for the trip. Additional charges may apply to bring additional equipment for the trip.
